Owl Turd Comics is a new, independent comic book publisher. And although I've never been one to hand over money for anything I don't think I'm allowed to mention " Owl Turds" on this particular article. "You know how, as the dawn of mankind, enlightened philosophers and poets have spent their entire life's time trying to explore concepts such as peace, life, logic, and despair?" Well, these great philosophers and poets also are dead now, which I can assure you, I am not one of. So I won't touch that issue.
Instead, I'd like to tell you about Owl Turd Industries, one of the hottest, most creative companies in the comic book industry today. One issue is all it takes to make the most cutting edge, edgy, unique comic book company of today. Which, of course, is really the only way to go when you're trying to create something truly original. It would be sort of silly to try and sell millions of copies of a comic book that no one had ever heard of. The same thing wouldn't apply if the company was actually a brand new company, one that had been around for decades. It would just be kind of a mess.
But fortunately, Owl Turd Industries is one of those companies. They've been doing their business for quite some time, starting in 1974. And one of the things I love about them, besides their creativity and the quality of their comics, is the way they treat their artists. There are a lot of different ways artists are treated in comics, but no one treats their art like Owl Turd artists do. Here's why.
First of all, they understand their artists. Most companies just take their artists and dump them. They rarely even talk to them. Owl Turd understands that artists make a living, and they want to be compensated for what they do. They also recognize that in order for an artist to do the best work, they have to be paid as well.
So, when it comes to their artists, they do their research. They see what other successful comics companies are paying their artists, and then they emulate those practices. What makes them stand out from the rest? Well, first of all, their prices. Their monthly subscription costs are low, and they offer a variety of options. Whether you want to get one issue every month or buy annual subscriptions, they've got you covered.
Another thing they've done differently than many of their competitors is that they give their customers the opportunity to be involved with the Owl Turd comics creation process. You can submit any question or comment you have via email, which will then be answered by the co-creators. This is an amazing way to get more involved, and helps to keep you up to date with everything that's going on. It also gives you a chance to learn a lot from your favorite creators. I'm always on the lookout for new talent, and this is a great way to get involved.
Finally, I love the way Owl Turd Comics has marketed themselves through their social networking sites, blogs, and even their podcast. They've created a fan base that is devoted, not only to their high quality comics, but to the way they promote themselves and their brand. It's encouraging to know that they take the time to reach out to their audience, especially considering the size of some of their current readership. They make their comic book fans very happy.
All in all, I think Owl Turd Comics is going to be a solid company for a few years. They are committed to providing high quality content, they're competitive, and they appeal to a wide variety of fans. If you love great comic books, you should definitely add them to your comic book collection!
