Buyer's Guide: Lucifer Dc Comics

Lucifer DC Comics - A Haunting Begining

Lucifer Dc Comics is a fictional character who appears mainly in American comic books written by DC Comics. He is an incarnation of Lucifer, the angel of light, and is perhaps one of the more prominent and compelling characters in the DC Universe. Lucifer was castigated for his actions in Hell during the final days of the Christian calendar. Lucifer was castigated because he disobeyed God and the Holy Spirit, leading him and fellow archangels to be sent to the Material Plane. Lucifer then underwent a violent and gruesome physical transformation, becoming the demon Warlock of the Green Lantern Corps.

In the new 52, we find that the sins of Lucifer have caught up with him. He has been castigated for his part in the downfall of humanity and is now banished to the fiery pits of hell. Now a part of the legion of the Outsiders, he plots his vengeance against those who did not join him in his new crusade. His hatred is so great that he seeks to overthrow Superman, whom he sees as a threat to his rule.

This latest storyline finds Lucifer plotting his takeover of heaven and all the fallen angels present in heaven. He uses his position as King of Heaven to have the souls of humanity instantly trapped in hell. When confronted by Superman, Lucifer uses his newly-reborn demonic powers to brutally slaughter all of Superman's loved ones. Superman is spared of course, but must travel there on foot in order to do battle with Lucifer once and for all. With the deaths of both Superman and his beloved wife, Rachel Dawes, Superman is faced with the ultimate decision of returning to earth to fight his former friend or to leave his brothers behind.

Lucifer is defeated, however, in the final pages of this latest DC comics Hellraiser special. With the help of Dr. Harleen Quinzel's magical scrying device, he realizes that he has all the time in the world to prepare his next attack on heaven and earth. However, Lucifer discovers that he has forgotten one last thing: the Seed of Paradise Lost. Before leaving Earth, Lucifer releases a bolt of light from his hand which obliterates the remains of his opposition. He then transports Superman back to his earthly vessel so that he can be healed, but before leaving, Lucifer releases a blast of hellish energy which completely destroys the New Moon base and the entire planet Earth.

So now we find that Lucifer is back and he's looking to exact revenge on those who betrayed him. In this latest hellblazer comic book series, we also learn that Lucifer was the reason that Riddler became the criminal that he is today. While attempting to clear his name, he targets the new hero of Metropolis, Batman. In the process, we also learn that the Riddler is hiding from his own personal hellish past. But is there hope for either the Light or the Dark Knight?

It is now time to see what kind of master story is written for the DC comic books based off of the hit TV show, Hellraiser. Yes, it is quite obvious by now that the Hellraiser franchise is heading into its second season with more episodes to come. What makes this comic book series so successful is that even though it is just a television show, many people enjoy it. People are constantly asking about how the whole Hellraiser story began and they want to know if there will be a second season. Well, I am here to tell you that there is going to be a second season of Hellraiser and I have some teasers for you.
