Hellboy is one of those rare comic books that is popular not only with the fans of the comic but with the non-Comic Book readers as well. For a comic book to become popular it has to have its fan base, and this is what makes Hellboy so special. The main character, Hellboy, is a rescue from an unforgiving world who by day is a man called Johnny Blaze, and by night he becomes Hellboy, a noble and powerful warrior who protects the innocent in the dark world called the post-apocalyptic world. Hellboy has been saving the world from vampires, zombies, supernatural forces and other fiends on a nightly basis for the last couple of years. He uses his knowledge and expertise from many past adventures to fight the evil henchmen of the evil Lordrick, and even though he has a time-bar, he still needs all the help he can get when faced with impossible odds.
Hellboy was created by Bill Finger and Frank Miller, who did the initial writing. Frank Miller created the character because he wanted a dark, mystical adventure story, and Bill Finger added his skills of drawing the comic book in a way that could also be a feature in the comic. With his years of experience in creating super heroes, Frank Miller took this idea and made it into a visual treat for the readers. Hellboy has gone through many changes throughout its history and the current version of the character is quite different to the original.
There was a time when Hellboy was a rich young man named Garfield "Britten" Smith. While living with his grandmother, Garfield witnessed the murder of her boss and decided that he would become a masked crusader in the wild west to seek retribution. One day, while traveling across the desert, Garfield got a chance to see Hellboy in action and decided he would like to join him someday. However, since his grandmother was against it, Garfield Smith left the area. For several years, Garfield stayed away from Hellboy, never looking back at his comic book hero, but now he has changed his mind.
Since the modern day of Hellboy and the World of Grey is based on the modern day of the comic book world, it was only right that the characters had to receive some changes as well. These changes have been one of the main reasons why the modern-day Hellboy has been successful. In the modern-day Hellboy comics, the character has undergone quite a number of changes. For starters, he has undergone a change in appearance. Originally, he was a pale, skeletal figure in a berserker-like costume, but now he has undergone a change in appearance, with him wearing new, modern clothes that are Hellboy-like in their style.
Apart from the appearance, the Hellboy series also underwent a number of changes in its writing and storytelling. The first series was a stand alone story, written by Neil Gaiman. It was called Miracle, and followed the tale of Hellboy, who was a young boy living in modern-day England. He encountered and teamed up with another young boy, named Satan. They would go on a journey across the world, battling evil and helping people. The series ended with the destruction of Hellmouth and a series of mysterious deaths that left Hellboy with a broken heart.
The second series, which was written by Bill Griffith, was titled Hellraiser. This series follows the life of Hellboy, after his parents were killed in a plane crash. He then vows to find those responsible for his parents deaths and avenge them. In the Hellraiser comics, Hellboy goes on many quests, most of which are to locate the person responsible for his parents deaths. His adventures often include fighting against creatures and other oddities that are part of the environment he finds himself in. Some of these are: the Vampires, the Succubus, and the Frankenstein monster.
The third series, written by Charles Soule, is known as Ghost Boy. Ghost Boy lives with his adopted family, and is raised by their protector, an older woman named Shaundi. As he grows up, Ghost Boy battles other supernatural beings, like the Vampire known as Banshee, and tries to help others in their quests for justice. Most of the comic book series focuses on Ghost Boy's relationship with another man, called Dastardly.
The popularity of the Hellboy comics has led to other related merchandise, such as trading cards, board games, action figures, and even clothing. All of these items have become collector's items, making them desirable to many fans of the comic. There are even websites devoted solely to Hellboy collectibles, selling original art from the series, and exclusive covers. Hellboy may not be the best known of the comic book hero characters, but he is one of the most interesting, and most likely, if not the most powerful.
