Buyer's Guide: Falcon Captain America Suit Comics

Collecting Marvel Comic Book Costume Costumes

Falcon is an espionage and spy type of suit. Actually it was first used by Steve Rogers (who was also the one who dressed up as Cap) in the classic comic book Captain America No. 9. That comic made Cap a more heroic character. After the comic book series, several movies were made and they made the Cap more likeable to the audience. So, it became more popular and many people loved to dress up as the famous Captain.

Actually, Cap's suit was designed by a very famous designer. His name is Stan Lee and his comic book is the comics called the Spiderman. The suit that was designed by him became very famous.

Because of the success of the comic, several similar costumes were made and sold in the market. It gave birth to a new trend of costume. Today, you can easily find several choices of costume based on the costume that was worn by our most beloved super hero in the comic book world. There are also a lot of variations of the classic costume. If you want to play the role of a worthy, devoted and level-headed caped crusader, there is no other choice but to wear one, especially if you like to collect comic books.

For those who are not familiar with the comic books, let us try to revisit it. During the early times, Cap was only known as a simple soldier. He was not even sure if he should fight or to run away when the Civil War broke out. He tried to stay safe in a nearby house and there was one problem: a mysterious and dangerous criminal called the Red Skulls was attacking the city. Because of his bravery, Cap was given a captain's cap which was the official uniform of the time.

During World War II, America was in the middle of another great conflict. The country was at the brink of defeat. All that was standing between the United States and the defeat of the German soldiers were the Americans in the form of the military forces. One of these forces was the unit known as the Falcon. Cap was assigned as the group's leader and they were known for their supreme bravery. Their costume, aside from the cap, is a testament to this.

The famous comic book writer, Stan Lee, thought of this costume as an excuse for the real life action heroes. He made the character more humanized by giving him more flaws. That is why, even though Cap was a hero that was almost impossible to be defeated in a battle, one must also accept the fact that he would always be the underdog. Because of this, the costume of the Falcon really has its own identity and some people would opt to buy several costumes in order to transform into this super hero.

The Falcon costume really is quite comfortable to wear. It has a long and full skirt that covers the bottom part of the suit. On the top part, a red, stripped bottom piece accompanied with a white, feathered cap completes the ensemble. The costume has also been enhanced by the addition of a cape that would complete the design.

Cap's ability to fight off enemies and win has earned him the rank of a comic hero. Some of his greatest victories include the Battle at the Galley, where he uses his superior skill with a shield to protect his fellow soldiers from the Japanese warriors. Another time that he showed off his fighting skills was during the World War II, where he was able to lead his group of troops on a daring mission to capture the Nazi concentration camp, the Reinhardt Spa. During the process, Cap suffered an injury that left his left eye paralyzed. He was also hit by a plane and the sight of this happened would motivate him to never fly again. Cap continued to fight until the very end, which is why, even if this was one of his comic appearances, one could still consider this his greatest comic role.
