DreamTales Comics is brought to us by Jim Butcher and Jeff Hill. They are the creators of the award winning IDW comic book line. They have given fans of both the DC comic book series and the Action figures/ toys a great deal to be happy about.
Recently we have learned that Dream Tales will be coming to a close. This is part two of an eight part crossover event between Dream Tales: The New Kid and DeviantART. IDW has finally released the second half of their eight part IDW storylines. The second half will feature characters from the newest IDW comic, New Kids on the Block. In this two part release, the fan favorite Dream Team: Chemo and Muffy will battle the evil wormhole supervillain, Skaavoid.
My first introduction to Dream Tales was when I saw the kick starter "DreamTale World" episode. After that I became hooked on DreamTales and the entire concept. My favorite characters include: Cruella de Vil, The Great Mouse, Mikey, Jenny, Mr. Crocker, and much more. These are just some of my favorites and I could keep going.
DreamTales Comics is not only a great web comic, but it is also an online community with a forum and message board. You can even upload your DreamTale Comics webcomic onto DreamTales Comics' gallery page. The forum is chock full of information and you will find great discussions on all kinds of Dream Team related subjects. You will also find a lot of new friends from all over the world. If you are a Dream Team fan, or just love the thought of having your own fan club, then the forum and message board is for you.
Dream Team is inspired by several fairy tale and cartoon movies. For example, the "Famous Five" series has a young Tinkerbell and a trio of pumpkin patches. They are joined by the lion, the jackal, the dragon, and the bear. The idea is that there are four legendary creatures who must team up in order to defeat a mythological creature who can destroy the world. For me, that makes this series a classic. In addition to that, there are a lot of fantastic ideas.
From the webcomics to the live concerts, Dream Team Cd's are selling like hotcakes. The Dream Team line includes: Friends Reunited, Good Times, The Frog and the Princess, I Dream of Mr. Tambourine Man, I Dream of Mr. Pig, The Lost Treasure of Tarzan, and lots of extras. You can buy individual comic books as well as several collected volumes of each title. I think the prices on these types of GTS comics are fair because they are not like the super hero movies where they go from writer to artist to colorist to writer and then back to artist again and sometimes all over again.
Many of the stories are drawn in a very cute and charming way. I especially love the comical illustrations. I am also a big fan of the animation. One of my all time favorite shows is The Disney Afternoon. My daughter adores the Disney Afternoon episodes.
There are a lot of people who have comments and questions on the Dream Team Cd's. Lots of them are posted at the Dream Team Cd's home page. You can go check out the comments and ask question there. Be sure to sign up for the forum at Dream Team Cd's website.
I have a few Dream Team Cd's that I bought with my daughters. They have some very nice Dream Team pictures. I love their fun adventures and am always happy when they come out. These type of comics are a great way to spend the night before Halloween or any special occasion. You will always have lots of creative ideas for party favors and invitations if you have these series of Dream Team Cd's at your fingertips.
I love buying the new issues of Dream Team. I always find a brand new issue close to home. I love their style of storytelling. I also love the art. I usually find Dream Team variant covers at the local comic shop.
If you live near a comic book store, I suggest you check out Dream Team Cds. You might be surprised by how many are available locally. A trip to the local shop can also be a great way to meet others who are collectors of these types of comics. You can also find several Dream Team trades collections available. A great place to start your search is on the Internet.
