Buyer's Guide: Comic Book Realm

All About Comic Books - The Comic Book Realm

The Comic Book Realm is where the superheroes of our world reside. There are two basic kinds of comic book readers, the first group are devoted followers of DC comic book universe and the second are dedicated readers of Marvel comics. It can be pretty confusing and be a hassle to choose which one you should be. On the surface they may seem the same, but underneath they can be vastly different. For those who are DC fans, it is definitely worth it to spend the money of getting a subscription to their comics' monthly comic book. While they do have some pretty dastardly villains to fight, and do battle with, at the end of the day, they do have their own high standards and villains to put up with.

The Comic Book Realm is a virtual land that exists within the pages of each comic book. There are countless creatures, people and objects that exist in this world. The only way to depict this to the Marvel or DC comic book readers is by drawing them, and doing so is not as easy as one might think. It is often very difficult to create a realistic, three dimensional figure out of thin sheet of paper, and that is why artists rely on the drawings and colored pictures that they can come up with.

As you browse through these comic books, you will find that each one is written as a self-contained story. Everything within the book takes place within the comic. This means that while one story is happening in the comic book, another one is happening in another part of the comic book. One can go back and read previous issues of any particular comic book they are interested in just to catch up on what has taken place in the story. They can do this for all comic books.

For those who are Marvel or DC readers, this can be rather exciting. Imagine being able to jump into a new adventure within the comic book world without having to read the previous comic book series to get caught up. It would be like flipping the pages of a book, skipping to a new story, and being immediately rewarded. There is so much fun to be had for those who love to read.

Of course, some do not enjoy reading comic books that are already written. That is alright. There are still many comic book readers who choose to purchase hardcovers with their favorite stories, comics, or even comics that they have borrowed from other sources. These hard copies often come in beautiful wraps with superb art on the cover of the comic book.

If someone chooses to purchase a specific comic book, they may be able to find a certain type of cover that they enjoy. There is no rule that states that a cover has to look like it came straight from the comic book store. In fact, sometimes the artists who create the covers are more talented than the people who write the original books. This means that there are some really beautiful covers that come from the imagination of the artists who drew them.

Comic books are not just collected by individuals. They can also be sold. Comic stores and even the online world make these titles available to the public. Many times, individuals collect these titles and then trade them among friends or allow them to be sold on auction sites. It is not uncommon for an avid reader to create an entire series of books, trading off different titles to keep each book in its own world.

The world of the comic book realm is vast and very interesting. Anyone who enjoys this wonderful hobby can explore it. There is plenty of variety to be found and there is always more to be discovered. A true fan will never tire of this exciting hobby.
