Big Planet Comics is a monthly comic book publication that features all the great superhero cartoons that kids love. The great thing about Big Planet is that you don't have to drive anywhere to get your comics. You can pick them up at your local grocery store and read them from home. This is great for those of us who live on the East Coast as it makes it easy for us to grab a copy of a couple comics when we get home from work.
Big Planet Comics features some of the best assortment of new comic books in the Washington, D.C area. I have been a fan of DC comic book heroes for years and I still love all my comics from DC including the Batman and Superman series. For my first time trying out a new superhero I decided that I wanted to try out Big Planet Comics. I really enjoy reading superhero comics and there are many that I want to get just because I love them.
The great thing about Big Planet Comics is that you can buy them monthly or weekly. I decided that I would get a few issues when I picked them up at the store the first time around. It turned out to be a really good decision since I got two full months of comics delivered to my door. It was great having the comics delivered and I can read them in my car in the quiet of the morning without having to worry about being interrupted while I'm driving.
I had heard a lot about how great the DC comics had been doing lately and I was excited to see what the new line of characters from DC would look like. My first stop was G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero by Greg Biffle. This comic book took me back to when I was a little kid and super powers were very important to me.
The story in this first issue was exciting and had me hooked. It was based on the life of Private First Class Jeff Jones who went from an average soldier to an amazing, super powered GI Joe. I especially loved the part where he was hypnotizing people with his voice. This is one of my favorite comic book series and has been one of my favorites since I was a child.
Another great book that I picked up was Greg Biffle's Death of a Salesman. This was the first time I had ever read about a person dying and going to heaven but instead being sent back to earth. This book was an absolute page turner and I could not put it down. I cannot remember much after reading the first couple of issues but I will always remember the intense first day of high school.
Some other comics that I absolutely must have were the ones from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and the final installment of the Dark Tower Collection: Return of the Masters. These two books are absolute masterpieces. My favorite is probably the first one, but I still can't get enough of the Dark Tower collection. It took me so long to get around to reading this one, I had to put it aside for a while until I had a few more days free.
If you are looking for a great gift for your favorite fan, I highly recommend either of these excellent books. They are sure to please even the most dedicated DC Comics fan. My only regret is that I will probably not finish them all. They are just too much fun and I can't get enough of them. Between the two of these great comics, I should have a supply of DC comics on hand for whenever someone decides they want a reading adventure. So, consider these two recommendations if you are giving someone a gift for the holidays or a birthday.
